I hosted a pretty festive cocktail party this weekend in Williamsburg. The occasion was to toast the sagacity of the Turkish military for passing Caravansarai, the Holiday Season, and to honor and thank my close friends who have been so patient with me in the past difficult year. Moving to New York is always a traumatic and stressful experience filled usually with sickness, frustration, and worry–and I was no exception. But though I don’t have a job or a place to live, it finally feels like home!
So thanks, NYC friends! I just don’t know why sophistication is so elusive for us, though. Here is a photo documentation of how our cocktail evening devolved.
